Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Acting on guidance from Governor Whitmer, the Centers for Disease Control, and our local health departments, effective immediately, all Oakmont Communities will now be locked down to any non-essential visitors. This includes but is not limited to family visits, entertainers, vendors, exercise instructors, non-essential staff, community groups, and others.

Emergency personal and essential staff will still be given access to our community if they meet our strict criteria regarding their current health status and history of travel.

In response to the Governor’s recent Executive Order 2020-5, we are also asking that all residents and staff members refrain from participating in large gatherings outside of the community including concerts, busy restaurants, senior centers, religious services, or any other location where large groups congregate. If these types of events are attended, the attendee will not be permitted back in the community for a period of 21 days.

With the rapidly increasing rate of COVID-19 infection throughout the metro area, we appreciate the support and diligence of our extended Oakmont family in helping us keep our communities free of communicable disease. We will continue to provide updates as they become available via our new emergency text system.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,
