Every month Oakmont Rochester puts on a Dementia training/In-service for our family members. This month we will be having it open for all staff and residents. It is a great opportunity for our staff to receive more education on the topic as well as to gain more information on interventions that will help with orienting them to this disease. Our residents are our focus and the more tools we can provide to help with stimulating interaction the more productive and successful our department will be.
