Western Resident & Family Picnic
Join us for a Night in the Wild West! This year’s Resident & Family Picnic is of special importance for us as we will be collecting donations for the Oakmont Communities Fundraising efforts for Sheriff Deputy Hack! Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, 50/50 Raffle, and games – which include tossing someone in jail & being Sheriff for a fee. The possibilities for fun are endless!
Tai Chi Class
Join for a 4 Week Tai Chi Course!
Tai Chi is a centuries-old mind and body practice. It involves certain postures and gentle flowing movements. Scientific studies have shown tai chi to improve health, quality of life and balance. It is a recognized intervention for relieving arthritis and for fall prevention. If you would like to just come and observe that is fine. We will be taking a step-by-step teaching method so the moves will be easier to learn.
MGM Casino
Feeling lucky? Join us for a trip out to the Casino with Oakmont Northville. We will load the bus up and head over to the Detroit MGM Casino where we will test our luck!
Volunteer Luncheon
April is National Volunteer Appreciation month! Our Oakmont Livonia Volunteers are not only gracious but giving and wonderful. These volunteers make it possible for us to have things such as, Crochet Class, Our General Store, Sing-A-Longs, and much more! To celebrate these wonderful individuals we will be taking them out to lunch at the “Olive Garden.” Thank you for all that you do!
Garden Club Meeting
Oakmont Livonia just wouldn’t be the same without the beautiful contributions from our Garden Club! Join us for our very first Garden Club Meeting on Tuesday, May 9th at 3:15 pm to discuss our plans for the coming year.
