This is why when we received a generous offer of a performance from the Michigan Opera Theater, we knew it was a perfect fit for our community.

On Thursday, June 6th, two members of the Michigan Opera Theatre, Clodagh Earls, soprano, and David Moan, baritone, brought their exceptional singing talents to Oakmont Northville for a truly incredible performance. For the better part of an hour, the engaging duo performed a repertoire of selections from both grand opera and some classic Broadway favorites that our residents absolutely loved.

This amazing program of bringing the Michigan Opera Theatre to Oakmont Northville was made possible by through a generous grant from the Mary Thompson Foundation. Created in 1979, the Mary Thompson Foundation provides aid, assistance, and services to seniors through the funding of various programs and initiatives. 

A special thank you goes out to the Michigan Opera Theater, the Mary Thompson Foundation, Clodagh, David, and everyone else who helped make this incredible afternoon of performance and fun truly unforgettable. Though this was the Michigan Opera Theatre’s first visit to Oakmont Northville, we look forward to seeing them again soon.
