As a Michigan-based, family-owned business, Oakmont Senior Communities takes special pride in providing the best accommodations and lifestyle for the brave men and women who’ve served in the armed forces. Veterans are a vital part of each Oakmont community, and we are committed to extending them the essential comforts of home and the luxury of stress-free senior living.

With special opportunities to share their stories and celebrate their service, our staff works to ensure that our veteran’s selfless sacrifices are never overlooked or forgotten. It is our honor to serve those who have served our country.

To the many veterans who currently call Oakmont home, and those throughout the world who’ve served our country, we say: Thank You.

Veteran’s Aid and Attendance Benefit

Many wartime veterans and surviving spouses of deceased wartime veterans are not aware of the United States Government monthly pension benefit called AID AND ATTENDANCE.

Aid and Attendance is a pension benefit that pays qualified veterans and their spouses for specific costs associated with home care, and care provided in an assisted living facility. This Aid and Attendance benefit enables seniors to live safer and healthier in a senior living community such as Oakmont.

If you are a veteran or a spouse of a veteran, we are happy to refer you to several organizations that specialize in helping you qualify for this program. Many of our residents are currently benefitting from this pension benefit and enjoy living at Oakmont.
