For the days leading up to Father’s Day, we’ve asked our residents and families to share stories, pictures, and favorite memories of their dads, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers who live in our communities. Jim wrote in to tell us all about his Dad Bob P., a resident of Oakmont Parkway, who has been an incredible influence on the lives of his children and grandchildren.
Our dad, Bob P., is father to two sons and two daughters, grandfather to eight, and great grandfather to four. As his children, we are blessed for his guidance as a man of strong faith and commitment to family.
He has made us who we are today. He has a love for all sports, especially the Tigers and Red Wings (mostly when they are winning). He always makes us feel special on our birthdays as he never fails to call us and sing Happy Birthday.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad! We all love you.
